23.08.2024 Hoerner College had the honor of hosting a significant two-day Essential Leadership Training Program under the aegis of the Association of Schools Affiliated to ASISC UP & UK Region . The workshop successfully drew the participation of 40+ Principals from diverse Schools across the State (including Kanpur & Saharanpur), highlighting the pivotal role of Educational Leadership and Development.

Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Nagar Nigam Lucknow members conducted an awareness drive in Hoerner College on 19th January 2023 to spread the need, importance and effects of cleanliness in our life. They visited the campus and made the new generation aware of the two dustbins, its usage and dumping method; blue and green dustbin via banners. The awareness drive was indeed an alarm that cleanliness must be an effort by each and every individual so that our Mother Earth becomes an even better and sustainable place.

“Nature is a tool to get children experience not just the wider world but themselves. ” Children love outdoor activities, outside they can develop social skills as they incorporate friends in doing so (real or imaginary). They play and develop critical thinking skills as they navigate the environment. Once they love nature, they’ll want to protect it, too.Students of Hoerner College from Classes Pre Nursery to II, various Nature Hunt Activities in near by garden. They observed different flowers, trees, insects, squirrels, spider’s web, birds and abundant treasures of Nature. Activity based learning was incorporated in this activity.

04.09.2023 On International Taekwondo Day, the skilled practitioners of Hoerner College put on an impressive display of strength, skill, and power to highlight the importance of taekwondo.
Hoerner College has been committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the less fortunate and marginalized for more than 30 years. Our institution has taken part in numerous philanthropic and humanitarian initiatives, including collecting essential food and clothing items, knitting blankets, and organizing meal programs for the homeless.
The students, teachers, and Principal of Hoerner College have once again demonstrated their incredible compassion and generosity towards the underprivileged community.
Akshay Mishra and Neeraj Tiwari showcased their exceptional knowledge and skills by securing a position in the top 10 during the space quiz held by Regional Science City on National Space Day, celebrated on August 23rd. Their achievement highlights their dedication to space exploration. Hoerner College extends its congratulations to Akshay and Neeraj, wishing them success in all their future endeavors. This recognition not only applauds their current accomplishments but also motivates them to continue pursuing their passion for science.
“Democracy is based upon the conviction that there are extraordinary possibilities in ordinary people.” It is evident that the students familiarise with elections since they are the future. Keeping in mind the same, elections for Student Council 2023-24 were held in Hoerner College on 24th January, 2023. The day before was full of excitement as canvassing went on full swing up until the Ballot boxes were put out. The nominees for posts of Head Boy, Head Girl, Captains and Vice- Captains of the four houses, Sports and Discipline Incharges were introduced before hand to students. The first vote was casted by Principal, Dr. Mala Mehra followed by students from all classes VI to XII; as per their choices. Secret Ballot box was kept in The Globe area for Fair Elections of Senior section.
On the other hand, elections for Head Boy and Head Girl for Primary Section was conducted in The Atrium wherein students from Classes I to V casted their votes in Ballot Box.
Celebration was in the air !!!!! .1st April happens to be the day of the Principal’s birthday and the Students ,Teachers ,and Non-Teaching staff made every effort to make it a day of surprises and jubilations. A Special Morning Assembly was organized to mark the day where the tokens of love were extended in different ways.Special Presentations by Pre-Primary ,Primary Section stole the Principal’s heart .Junior and Senior Section students rocked the stage with their Shoe- Tapping Dance Performance. The Ever – Awaited Principal’s favorite songs were rendered beautifully by the choir .The Poem Recitation ,the Song by the students ,the Gifting of Bouquet and Rose Buds in an adorable way,the message of adoration by the Self Composed Poem by teachers ,it all made the day very special .
Birthday Cake was cut amongst loud cheering by the teachers which was followed by presentation of Gifts and Wishes. A Sumptuous Lunch by the Principal came […]
