A workshop based on critical thinking, it’s necessity and implementation in class by various means was held at Hoerner College on 24th June by Raj Kumar Singh, the very renowned coach and trainer. He is an English Language Teaching Professional and soft skills trainer with CELTA from University of Cambridge.
Hoerner College’s 75th Republic Day celebration resonated with vibrant enthusiasm and a profound spirit of patriotism. The campus thrived with energy as students, staff, teachers, and esteemed guests, including the renowned entrepreneur Dr. Anita Raturi,a renowned entrepreneur and Member of the Board Management, Hoerner College Society and Professor Emeritus Mr. Amitabh Raturi from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America, united to pay homage to the framers of the Constitution and Global Nation-builders who have significantly contributed to our journey of progress.
23.07.2034 Hoerner College had the singular honour of hosting the Zonal Creative Writing Competition under the aegis of the Association and schools Affiliated to the Indian School Certificate, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttrakhand chapters.
Hoerner College had the much awaited and most sought after Staff Picnic !!! Keeping in mind the Fun Being of her loving staff , the Principal planned a Picnic Trip to the much appreciated Anandi Amusement Park on 7th January 2023.
06.03.2023 With the advent of spring, comes the festival of joy wrapped in colours of festivity bringing good cheers for all to enjoy.”The festival of colours was celebrated by the Principal, teachers and staff of Hoerner College in its Globe area with great enthusiastic and refreshing spirit.The entire Globe area was drenched in hues of red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and purple as the Principal, Dr. Mala Mehra and staff came together to play with colours and exchange warm greetings.Firstly the Principal, individually splashed everyone with colours, thus giving them a promise of being truthful and a strong support forever. Later, the teachers and staff played with colours in full swing, leaving no stone unturned. The icing on the cake was when teachers showered coloured foam spray. It added to the utmost joy and made an invigorating atmosphere. Hoerner College celebrates all festivals with equal fervour with inter religion respect as Teachers and Staff across religions join in festivities. The true colours of India!!!Hoerner College wishes everyone a very Happy and safe Holi.
04.08.2023 The 6-hour training programme was held in The Atrium of Hoerner College and was conducted by Mrs. Anita Arathoon, a learned Scholar, reputed author, and a Master Trainer in her own right with an extensive experience in teaching as well. She has held the post of Assistant Secretary of the Association of Teachers in Anglo Indian Schools and presently is a sought after resource person and holds workshops in Schools and Colleges pan India.
From Toddlers to Young Adults, the journey of a student is an evolution. At Hoerner College our Outgoing Students’ Journey was a wholesome journey of learning and discovery, of personal and academic growth encompassing a holistic growth. Of memories made and lessons learnt, of friendships made and relationships nurtured.The culmination of a fifteen-year Academic Journey marks a momentous occasion in the lives of students. Although the prospect of leaving school is exciting, it is also an emotional time.To celebrate the students’ achievements and bid them farewell, Hoerner College hosted a farewell party on January 27th, 2024.
The students of Hoerner College have done us proud by showcasing their exceptional talent and creativity in the art competition held at Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden on 28th July 2024 on the occasion of International Tiger Day.
Hoerner College had quite the weekend festivities with the harvest festival Lohri and Makarsankranti back to back on 13th and 14th January 2023.
