School days are some of the best and most memorable times of our lives. They are a time for learning, personal growth, making lifelong friends, discovering new interests, and finding out who we are. It is a time for exploration, creativity, and discovery, and for learning to interact with others, express ourselves, appreciate our differences, take risks, be brave, overcome our fears, and believe in ourselves. School days are also a time to strive for excellence and to become the best version of ourselves. At Hoerner College, we celebrate the annual Penfest event as it provides us with wonderful opportunities to create unforgettable memories and to receive feedback from our teachers.

This year, celebrating the occasion, memories of school life from Nursery to Grade 12 were expressed by Grade 12 students at the Penfest held at Hoerner College. Wearing their hearts and emotions on their shirts, students shared secret codes, nicknames, good wishes and promises of unending friendships and undying love. These memories will remain forever. The Hoerner Family wishes the Grade 12 students all the best for their upcoming board exams and their bright futures ahead.
