In today’s era, Education is not only confined to reading and writing. It is now linked to the holistic development of the children. This is the reason Hoerner College is leaving no stone unturned to help students to experiment with their knowledge and are providing them different opportunities to showcase their skills. These include exhibitions, special assemblies, presentations, house meetings etc.The day 4th Feb.,2023 was innovative and experimental day for all the students as Hoerner College organized the Science and Craft Exhibition . A science exhibition is a wonderful tool that engages students in learning new facts. It develops in them the curiosity to learn more in an interesting and experiential way. – Hoerner College

A somber Morning Assembly was organized today at Hoerner College. It was in remembrance of the First and the Oldest Helping Staff of the College, Savitri Ji, who passed away on 27th January, 2023.Savitri Ji joined Hoerner, way back in 1970 and in fact witnessed the laying of the foundation stone in 1969. Hoerner School used to be a single storeyed building and the Founder Principal Mrs V.S. Singh spoke highly of her. She was a diligent worker and Mrs Singh ensured all her children would be educated at Hoerner School. She joined as a 16 year old newly wedded bride and went on to a beautiful journey of hardwork and dedication there on. The present Principal of the College, Dr. Mala Mehra remembered how diligent Savitri Ji was and how her personality was a reflection of ” Work is Worship ” . Savitri Ji’s two sons also joined in the Assembly and reminisced about the varied qualities of their mother. Floral tributes were paid by the Principal, Incharges and all the Support Staff with the wish that her departed soul rests in peace.

Parents Teacher Meeting @Hoerner College. Teachers of all Sections right from Pre-Nursery to Class 11th sat together under one roof to attend the Parents in the last P.T.M.of the Session.The Atrium was abuzz with activity on 10th February ,Saturday .The Admit Cards and the Examination Schedule were handed over to all of them. The teachers discussed in length about the Syllabus & the Pattern of the Question Papers and tips and tricks to pass with flying colours.All in all a successful adieu to the session just before the start of the Final Examinations .
