A somber Assembly was conducted at Hoerner College marking the 32nd Death Anniversary of the Honourable founder of Hoerner College, Late Dr. Surender Singh, Founding Vice Chancellor, Avadh University Faizabad & Fellow Indian Council for Cultural Relations, External Affairs, New Delhi.Coined as Meritorious Day, this day celebrates the life of Dr Surender Singh by recognising the Meritorious Students, giving prizes and citations and affording Scholarships.Due to ongoing Board Exams, the celebration will be undertaken on 22nd March, 2023 at The Atrium, Hoerner College.At Hoerner College we take great pride in saluting a true hero of the Indian soil as he remained true to his vision and mission of education for all and parity and opportunities regardless of caste creed race gender or colour.To this great soul we shall eternally be grateful.
