Hoerner College in its efforts to provide cutting-edge technologies to its students renovated the existing Computer Laboratories both for the Pre Primary, Primary and Senior Section. New Computers replaced the old ones with Robotics and Artificial Intelligence supporting software’s.
The Laboratories were inaugurated by Ms. Manjit Batra, Senior Principal CMS Gomtinagar I & II and Vice President Hoerner College Society and Parent representatives from all sections. The inauguration was met with much appreciation by all. The students in particular were most excited.
The National Education Policy also mandates the enhanced use of technologies. At Hoerner College it will be the endeavour of the Management to ensure updated technologies and a Digital friendly environment.
Congratulations Hoerner College as we continue to grow and strive to be future ready always!

Examination Fever On !!!!
The portals of Hoerner College is all set to witness the most important Annual Ritual of Academic Session -The FINAL EXAMINATION.
ISC Board Examination commenced from 13th February and all the Board Examinees were present to appear for the First Paper of their Board Examinations. Students were all eager to take blessings from the Principal and Teachers alike .The Principal gleefully welcomed and blessed all with the traditional Teeka Ceremony.
Once the examinees were seated, in the Examination Hall ,the Principal read out the Special Prayer to invoke choicest blessings of the Almighty and guide them throughout.

Parents Teacher Meeting @Hoerner College. Teachers of all Sections right from Pre-Nursery to Class 11th sat together under one roof to attend the Parents in the last P.T.M.of the Session.The Atrium was abuzz with activity on 10th February ,Saturday .The Admit Cards and the Examination Schedule were handed over to all of them. The teachers discussed in length about the Syllabus & the Pattern of the Question Papers and tips and tricks to pass with flying colours.All in all a successful adieu to the session just before the start of the Final Examinations .

This is the reason Hoerner College is leaving no stone unturned to help students to experiment with their knowledge and are providing them different opportunities to showcase their skills. These include exhibitions, special assemblies, presentations, house meetings etc.
The day 4th Feb.,2023 was innovative and experimental day for all the students as Hoerner College organized the Science and Craft Exhibition . A science exhibition is a wonderful tool that engages students in learning new facts. It develops in them the curiosity to learn more in an interesting and experiential way.

A somber Morning Assembly was organized today at Hoerner College. It was in remembrance of the First and the Oldest Helping Staff of the College, Savitri Ji, who passed away on 27th January, 2023.
Savitri Ji joined Hoerner, way back in 1970 and in fact witnessed the laying of the foundation stone in 1969. Hoerner School used to be a single storeyed building and the Founder Principal Mrs V.S. Singh spoke highly of her. She was a diligent worker and Mrs Singh ensured all her children would be educated at Hoerner School. She joined as a 16 year old newly wedded bride and went on to a beautiful journey of hardwork and dedication there on. The present Principal of the College, Dr. Mala Mehra remembered how diligent Savitri Ji was and how her personality was a reflection of ” Work is Worship ” . Savitri Ji’s two sons also joined in the Assembly and reminisced about the varied qualities of their mother. Floral tributes were paid by the Principal, Incharges and all the Support Staff with the wish that her departed soul rests in peace.

“Democracy is based upon the conviction that there are extraordinary possibilities in ordinary people.” It is evident that the students familiarise with elections since they are the future. Keeping in mind the same, elections for Student Council 2023-24 were held in Hoerner College on 24th January, 2023. The day before was full of excitement as canvassing went on full swing up until the Ballot boxes were put out. The nominees for posts of Head Boy, Head Girl, Captains and Vice- Captains of the four houses, Sports and Discipline Incharges were introduced before hand to students. The first vote was casted by Principal, Dr. Mala Mehra followed by students from all classes VI to XII; as per their choices. Secret Ballot box was kept in The Globe area for Fair Elections of Senior section.
On the other hand, elections for Head Boy and Head Girl for Primary Section was conducted in The Atrium wherein students from Classes I to V casted their votes in Ballot Box.

Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Nagar Nigam Lucknow members conducted an awareness drive in Hoerner College on 19th January 2023 to spread the need, importance and effects of cleanliness in our life. They visited the campus and made the new generation aware of the two dustbins, its usage and dumping method; blue and green dustbin via banners. The awareness drive was indeed an alarm that cleanliness must be an effort by each and every individual so that our Mother Earth becomes an even better and sustainable place.

The Pre Primary toddlers of Hoerner College were taught the way, twist and turns of school and taught land transport practically on 19th January, 2023. Students were given a ride to E- rickshaw in school near Virginia Gardens and Dr. Surender Singh Block. The children were overwhelmed and enjoyed the ride with thorough knowledge been imparted.
The joyous and delighted children had mesmerizing smiles, thanking their teachers for special education.

He gave his speech so charismatically that listeners were completely absorbed in his ideas.
